How to join West Sussex Humanists

Membership is simple. Just create an account using the Login form on the Home page. You will then be able to make posts in the forum, add comments to written articles, and receive regular emails.

Getting involved in West Sussex Humanists

You can be as involved as you wish. There is no pressure. Just joining will help promote our cause; ask your friends and family to join too. Unfortunately, as far as West Sussex County Council is concerned, numbers do matter; so the more people who join, the better.

Here are some of the things you can do to help. Or add your own ideas.

Read the regular emails you will receive from West Sussex Humanists and your local group

Read the latest articles and add your comments.

Take part in the forum. Start your own topics or respond to others

Vote in polls. There will be different polls on different pages.

Lobby local officials by sending emails, when requested

Attend meetings of your local group

Attend other local events

Attend countywide meetings and events (there won't be many of these)

Help run your local group, e.g. write articles, organise meetings/events, campaign

Take part in other local activities, e.g. give a talk in a school, help run a stall

Use any special skills or facilities you have in order to promote your local group or the countywide organisation

Make a regular donation to your local or central fund, e.g. £15 per annum will help us gain more publicity, hold more and better events, pay for speakers, etc.

If you have any questions, you can ring me on 01444 811413 or email Andrew Edmondson.
